Covington Brewhouse beers herald a new chapter in the rebirth of a colorful southeast Louisiana brewing tradition started over 150 years ago when 19th century German immigrants developed New Orleans into the brewing capital of the Gulf South. Our Brewhouse, located on the beautiful north shore of Lake Pontchartrain, carries on that proud "local" brewing tradition as a contributor to the present-day American craft beer renaissance. Our beers, which exemplify another of Louisiana's unique "local flavors", not only pair well with the amazing local cuisine, but stand on their own with distinctive taste and character.
